English Speaking: Zero to Confident
A 30-day plan to start speaking English — for students, parents & professionals who struggle with English.
Day 1-7: Foundation
Start with 20 daily-use sentences: "Good morning", "How are you?", "I am fine", "Thank you", "Please help me".
Learn 10 new words daily. Write them, say them aloud, use them in a sentence.
Listen to English 30 min/day: Simple podcasts (BBC Learning English), English songs with lyrics.
Don't worry about grammar yet — focus on SPEAKING. Mistakes are okay!
Record yourself saying 5 sentences about your day in English. Listen back. Repeat daily.
Day 8-14: Daily Conversations
Practice ordering food in English: "I would like one tea please", "How much is this?"
Describe objects around you: "This is a red chair. It is near the window."
Learn question words: What, Where, When, Why, How, Who. Make 5 questions daily.
Talk to yourself in English for 10 minutes (mirror practice). Describe what you see.
Day 15-22: Grammar Basics
Present tense: "I eat", "She goes", "They play". Practice with daily routines.
Past tense: "I ate", "She went", "They played". Describe yesterday.
Future tense: "I will eat", "She will go". Describe tomorrow's plan.
Common mistakes: "I am agree" ❌ → "I agree" ✅. "He don't" ❌ → "He doesn't" ✅.
Day 23-30: Confidence Building
Give a 2-minute speech on any topic: your family, your city, your dream job.
Watch an English YouTube video. Summarize it in your own words (in English).
Join an English speaking group: HelloTalk app, English speaking WhatsApp groups.
Remember: Fluency comes from practice, not perfection. Speak daily, even if imperfect.
