Education 10th Pass + ITI / NAC (National Apprenticeship Certificate)
Age Limit 18-33 years (relaxation for reserved categories)

Education Path

Pass 10th (Matriculation)

From any recognized board. This is the base qualification.

Complete ITI (Optional but helpful)

ITI in Fitter, Electrician, Welder, Mechanic etc. from NCVT/SCVT recognized institute. 1-2 year course.

NAC (Alternative to ITI)

National Apprenticeship Certificate — complete apprenticeship training under a designated trade.

Physical Fitness

Start physical training early. Males: 1000m run in 4:15 min, 35kg weight lift. Females: 1000m in 5:40 min, 20kg weight lift.

Exam Pattern

Understand every stage of the selection process

Stage 1

CBT (Computer Based Test)

100 questions, 90 minutes. Maths (25), Reasoning (30), General Science (25), General Awareness (20). Negative: 1/3rd.

Stage 2

PET (Physical Efficiency Test)

Males: 35kg lift + carry 100m in 2 min, 1000m run in 4:15. Females: 20kg lift + carry 100m in 2 min, 1000m run in 5:40.

Stage 3

Document Verification

Original certificates, caste certificate, medical fitness certificate.

Stage 4

Medical Examination

Vision test, hearing test, general fitness. Standards vary by post.
